Do you watch, Glee? I chatted with Naya Rivera, who plays Santana, one of the cheerleaders and glee members on the show. Eavesdrop on a bit of our convo after the jump!

TWIST: I watched the first episode of Glee and thought it was really funny! Can you tell me a little about your character?

Naya Rivera: I play Santana Lopez. She's one of the high school cheerleaders and friends with Quinn Fabray, who is the team captain. She's a bit of a bad girl. She's really snarky and always has these really witty one-liners she throws out there.

+So i finally finished my SoA video, i render it, upload it to YT and then YT messes it up by having a small audio glitch. But oh no it doesnt stop there, it then messes up the sync to the rest of the audio! fail.

I notice it only happens every time i render my vids in really HQ, so does anyone know how to.... um....  make the file smaller so maybe if i upload it, it wont do that? or any other suggestions? ill probably re-render it tomorrow but alas YT SUCKS

I all but threw myself at him, pressing my lips against his. He laughed against my lips, his arms wrapping around my waist as he caught me. His laughter subsided quick though, and a second later he was kissing me back. We knew we should get to the hospital, but Alice probably wouldn't notice if we were late.

‘When I was little me and buddy used to reenact action movies in the backyard and jump off the roof and climb trees so it was like ‘It would be fun to be able to do this so I guess to do this I have to be an actor’ so it wasn’t so much that I love acting but more the desire to be an action hero.'

On NBC’s Friday Night Lights, Zach Gilford brings a quiet strength and sensitivity to the role of quarterback Matt Saracen, who has to deal with taking care of an aging grandmother while he also dates the younger daughter of his football coach. When Gilford looked for a project outside of the series that would challenge him, the 27-year old actor found the screenplay for Dare, an independent film that opens this Friday in theaters. The film, directed by Adam Salky and written/co-produced by David Brind, is based on a short film that Brind developed while at New York University and takes the coming-of-age drama to new heights.

'Glee' Stars Talk Soundtrack, Christmas Single, Solo Careers
A Volume 2 is also expected in December.

Fox's new Wednesday night juggernaut "Glee" has not only made a huge impact on the television landscape but is also turning the music world on its ear. Every Thursday morning, the songs from the previous night's episode are posted to iTunes and immediately fly up the singles chart. This week, the show's first compilation, Glee: The Music, Volume 1, debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard albums chart.

The compilation features fan favorites like "Don't Stop Believin' " and "Bust Your Windows," but the cast all agree that one tune in particular is the highlight.

" 'Somebody to Love' is my favorite," castmember Lea Michele (who plays Rachel on the show) told MTV News.

"I would say the same thing," added Cory Monteith (Finn). "I have no original thoughts of my own."

"I'm a huge Queen fan," Michele said. "I think Freddie Mercury is one of the greatest performers of all time. So singing it was awesome, and I think as a group it was the first time we felt really good together. We really became a unit."

Michele and Monteith both love the soundtrack album because it shows just how diverse and talented the cast of "Glee" really is. "No matter how good a singer you are, it's tough doing all these different genres at once," she explains. "So one week you're doing Rihanna and the next week you're doing Celine Dion."

Considering the success of the show and of the first soundtrack, it's no surprise that Volume 2 is already set for release on December 8. That compilation will feature "Glee" versions of the Pretenders' "I'll Stand by You," John Lennon's "Imagine" and the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want."

Also in the works is a special Christmas single that the cast is recording this week. "They told me what song we were doing, but I honestly forgot," admits Amber Riley (Mercedes). "But it's a traditional Christmas song."

Riley added that this only represents the beginning of recorded output by the "Glee" cast. Matthew Morrison has a solo album in the works and the rest of the cast will get their shots as well. "We met with the head of Columbia Records, and he told us, 'All you guys are so talented, and you're all going to put out albums and be huge,' " Riley said. When she gets the opportunity, she will already have her wish list of collaborators in mind. "I would reach out to Jazmine Sullivan and to RedOne. And you know what? I would love if John Mayer would write me a song. I am one of his biggest fans. Continuum is, like, the album of my life."
